Once a year in June we support the leadership of our young people in a special Sunday of worship and celebration. Our children share their individual presentations and performances, followed by a wonderful whole family picnic and games.

Community House Presbyterian Church joins with other spiritually progressive congregations to challenge the misuse of religion, God and Spirit by the religious right in America and likewise to challenge the many anti-religious and anti-spiritual assumptions and behaviors that have increasingly become part of the liberal culture.

Every year our church celebrates our African American cultural heritage in a series of events in February that culminate in Soul Food Sunday. We share a glorious meal as we remember the contribution African Americans have made in American history |
